
Ingredient – 2 loaves
- Flour, wholemeal – 250g
- Flour (strong) – 250g
- Bicarbonate of soda – 1tsp
- Salt – 1tsp
- Buttermilk – 200g
- Water, warm – 60 ml
- Butter, melted – 25g
Procedure
- Sift the flours, salt and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl
- Make a well and add the buttermilk, warm water and melted butter
- Work the dough for about 5 minutes
- Mould into 2 round loaves and mark the top
- Bake at 200 degrees celsius for about 25 minutes. When the bread is ready, It should make a hollow sound when tapped
